bringing stories to life.
I first started print design in 2013. As a member of my high school’s yearbook team, my mind was constantly flooded with new and creative ways to showcase and enhance a story.

At the age of 15, I took over as our yearbook’s art director. In both 2014 and 2015, our yearbook won the National Yearbook Pacemaker award.
In 2016, I became my high school newspaper’s layout designer and editor-in-chief. This leadership position resulted in another award: Regional Newspaper Pacemaker.
During my time in University, I have spent the majority of my time behind a series of screens building my design skills.
With certifications in InDesign, Photoshop, and Lightroom (for certification codes, contact me, here), my design print skills have developed into including my own illustrations, fonts, and on occasion photography.
Take a look at FRAMED., BEYOND., and my yearbook designs below. And thanks so much for popping in!

Here lies the first edition of a student-based technology and art magazine entitled: FRAMED. The document below is interactive and can be scrolled through.

As Art Director, I was tasked with the role of developing a creative vision for this magazine and creating easy means for our team to see this vision through.

This creative process also included thinking about how ad placement can change the overall feel of a spread and how to work around not only previously written and subbed text, but also advertisement space.

what lies beneath the surface?
BEYOND. was my individual final year project. The document below is interactive and can be scrolled through.
Centred around travelling nomads and the underlying mental conditions that result in nomadic behaviours, everything within this magazine is original work from the copy to the design. With four original hard-hitting stories and cutting edge designs to go with each story, BEYOND. earned a high first-class mark.
