bringing multi-media to journalism
Bringing a story to life is the most important aspect of journalism. Besides designing aesthetically-pleasing print layouts and creating social media content that will draw in an audience, a great way to add colour to, and enhance a story, is with pictures, videos, and audio.

With developed skills in camera operation, video production, and photo editing, I believe that photojournalism can aid in adding vibrance to any story. Over the past three years, I have personally taken it upon myself to learn Adobe Final Cut Pro and AVID, as well as receive certifications in Photoshop and Lightroom (for certification codes, contact me, here).

Primarily, my photography has centred around portraits and occasional action shots. Editorial fashion photography editing and design have also been a prime focus of mine. For my photojournalism experience click here, or click the "Behind the Lens" prompt above and below.

Throughout my time at university, I have been practising using Adobe Audition and Zoom recorders in order to enhance my stories and add a more personal aspect. In 2017 and 2018, I also took part in Smoke Media's Radio Program writing and editing journalist script.
